Police presence is vital for several reasons:
Maintaining Law and Order: Police officers play a crucial role in maintaining law and order within a community. They respond to emergencies, enforce laws and regulations, and keep the peace.
Preventing Crime: A visible police presence can help to deter crime. Knowing that police officers are around can make criminals think twice about committing a crime, especially if they think they might get caught.
Protecting the Community: Police officers are trained to protect the community, and they do so by responding to calls for help and keeping people safe. They also work to prevent potential threats and harm to citizens.
Enforcing Traffic Laws: Police officers also play a vital role in enforcing traffic laws, which helps to keep roads and highways safe for drivers, passengers, and pedestrians.
Building Community Relationships: A strong police presence can help to build trust and positive relationships between law enforcement and the community. This can lead to improved cooperation and communication, which can help to solve crimes and prevent future criminal activity.
Police presence provides PNPA cadets with the opportunity to observe and learn from experienced police officers in action. By watching experienced officers respond to various situations, cadets can gain valuable insights into effective policing techniques and tactics.
Police presence also allows the cadets to engage with the community they will serve. By participating in community events, patrolling neighborhoods, and interacting with community members, cadets can develop the interpersonal and communication skills needed to build positive relationships with the public. Police presence reinforces the professionalism and dedication required of police officers. Cadets can observe firsthand the importance of being alert, responsible, and vigilant while on duty.[1]
Pasigueños’ celebrate its 22nd BAMBINO FESTIVAL
The Bambino Festival is one of the most significant cultural festival celebrations in Pasig City. It is held in Honor of Sto. Niño, who is a representation of Purity, Love, and innocence, reflects on the lives of Pasigueños. Bambino Festival is the Pasig version of the celebration of Sto. Niño Festival such as Sinulog of Cebu and Dinagyang of Iloilo. It was started in January 2002.
The cadets observed how important and how they implement Major Event Security, wherein the event should be protected and secured from different illegal activities, theft, and terrorism, and observed attendees to ensure they abide by venue laws.
The cadets also had a chance to talk with the ACOPO of PASIG CPS, PLTCOL DELOS REYES, wherein he gave some insights and advice that the cadets may use as they leave the portals of the Academy.

The effectiveness of law enforcement is often determined by how well law enforcement officers interact with the communities they serve. One of the fundamental keys to successful law enforcement is good police-community relations, or the relationship between the police and the communities they do. Good police-community relations are imperative for developing trust between police and citizens. Without this trust, police work becomes much less effective.
